Association chief Andreas Krautscheid on the British House of Commons’ rejection of the Brexit deal

“The vote is a serious warning shot for all concerned,” Andreas Krautscheid, Chief Executive of the Association of German Banks, said of yesterday’s Brexit decision. “But no one can afford to fall into paralysis. Britain must now make it clear whether it remains capable of political action. We still only know what the majority doesn’t want: but majorities are finally needed to prevent a fatally hard Brexit.”
