The Association of German Banks says “no” to violence against women

29 November 2019

According to the United Nations, violence against women and girls is one of the world’s most widespread human rights violations – in both the public and private sphere. One in three women and girls will experience physical and/or sexual violence in the course of their lifetime.

The theme of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November this year is “Orange is the World: Generation Equality Stands Against Rape”. It marks the beginning of action days which will end with International Human Rights Day on 10 December.

We at the Association of German Banks would also like to nail our colours to the mast at this time and raise awareness of this issue.
