Krautscheid: Agreement finally provides the basis for future economic relations
“We are relieved that the Brexit agreement has finally been approved by the Member States," said Chief Executive Andreas Krautscheid on the occasion of the EU Special Summit. "The transitional phase gives all parties the opportunity to work out the details of the future economic relations and make them legally binding. The whole of Europe is now looking at the British House of Commons: If the agreement does not find a majority there, it would be a major setback for our continent and for the United Kingdom. We therefore urge the British Members of Parliament not to reject this agreement. There will be no better.”
In a former version we used the word „signed“ instead of „approved“.
